Throughout the long history of the company, Arthur Brett craftsmen have led fine furniture manufacturing in standards of design and construction. Today we predominantly produce custom made pieces designed to specification from a single chair to an entire library. In addition we have a comprehensive standard collection. Pieces vary in style from the Queen Anne period through the matchless Georgian era of Chippendale, Hepplewhite and Sheraton, to the more elaborate style of Regency England. Meticulous attention to detail is evident in all that we do. Veneers and timbers are carefully chosen, however long the search for the perfect piece. Specialised brasswear is cast to ensure that even the smallest detail on a handle or castor is equal to the best of the 18th century. Attention to detail is the company’s watchword, with elaborate inlays of exotic woods featuring on many pieces, from extensive stocks of rare materials.
