moon 04Established in 1837 Moon has 175 years history in wool fabric production and fine design. To add to this long history, our mill is also one of the last remaining “Vertical Mills” left in the UK, with all processes from raw material to finished product being completed at the same site in Guiseley, near Leeds. We control all aspects including dyeing, blending, carding, spinning weaving and finishing giving our customers the peace of mind that they will have continuous standards and quality time and time again.

Our combination of a flexible manufacturing plant and the creative flair within our business comes together to produce unique looking tweed woollen fabrics. Our wool fabrics are used throughout the world for luxury furnishings and interiors. Some of our more noted customers have been the White House, Buckingham Palace the interior of the Dorchester Hotel in London.

We currently have a number of individual collections to suit any setting and style including ANTIQUE, BESPOKE, BOUTIQUE, BARONIAL, CHALET, HEATHER WOOLS, HERITAGE, MELTON WOOLS, MELTON II AND NATURAL  All of which are suitable for both domestic and contract furnishings and curtaining.

moon bronte logoIn 2009, we added Bronte to the company profile,moon2 allowing us to bring our high design and manufacturing quality to throws, cushions and interior accessories. Bronte throws and cushions are made from the finest raw material including Alpaca, Merino Lambswool, Shetland quality Pure New Wool and Mohair.

From Scottish tartans, steeped in history, to new and contemporary designs, the depth of colour used adds to finishing touch to any furnishing project.
