The Department for International Trade (DIT) will provide funding for businesses towards the costs of exhibiting overseas.
This is done via the Tradeshow Access Programme (TAP). The calendar of eligible events may be found here and it was updated on 21st December 2018.
The grants range between £500 and £2500 and are administered by Trade Challenge Partners and are split into quarters of the year.
The BFM has also recently been given Trade Challenge Partner status for the IMM Cologne which takes place in January 2020 and we hope that grants will be forthcoming for this event too.
The grants can contribute towards:
- exhibition space costs
- stand costs - including design, construction and stand dressing
A complete list of events may be found here together with the eligibility criteria.
If you have any questions, Steve will be pleased to answer them and also to direct you to the relevant Trade Challenge Partner for events that you may wish to attend, other than Milan and Cologne.
