At David Salmon we specialise in creating museum-standard copies of important pieces of fine period furniture. The majority of our recent work has been bespoke, built to individual commission, achieving the fine degree of authenticity for which the company has become so well known.

In contrast to the world of mass-production, our craftsmen still use the techniques and materials traditional to the 18th and 19th centuries. From cabinet makers to inlayers, upholsterers to French polishers, our craftsmen still work entirely by hand, often using antique materials and tools passed down through generations.

Working for leading interior designers world-wide, the company has built up an international list of private clients, including many Royal households. The success of the furniture is a direct reflection of the pleasure which people still derive from real craftsmanship. The pieces we create are as fine as anything produced in the Golden Age and their exceptional workmanship ensures their enduring value.
