UK furniture output rises
According to the ONS index of production, UK furniture companies manufactured 6.7% more furniture in November 2021 compared to one year ago, although it was down by 0.8% on pre-pandemic 2019.
However, in terms of value, at £886 million, total output was up by 10.6% on November 2020 and 7.4% of on the same month in 2019.
