Codes of Practice

Manufacturers:
To become an Approved member a company should demonstrate that at least 50%, by output of its sales volume, is UK manufactured.

Retailers:
To qualify as a ‘BFM Approved Retailer’ you must sell products made by British furniture manufacturers in the UK, although not exclusively.

Approved members can use the Approved Member logos to add value. For manufacturers it is a sign that you are a British Furniture Manufacturer and an Approved member of the BFM Trade Association. For Retailers it is a sign you stock British-made furniture in store. The logos can be used on websites, letterheads, marketing and promotional materials, social media etc.
